On August 30, 2016, Airspace Industry Corporation of China held a grand ceremony in Beijing’s Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, where it signed an official collaboration agreement with ANTONOV State Company (ANTONOV) on the manufacture of the An-225 aircraft in China.

ANTONOV President Oleksandr Kotsiuba, Grygoriy Rudyuk, First Vice−President Chief Designer of ANTONOV, Deputy Chief Designer, Liu Jie, Vice Governor of Sichuan Province, Gu binglin, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Former President of Tsinghua University, Zhang Jing'an, Director-General of the Association of China's High-tech Industrial Development Zones,and Jiang Fuyi, Party Secretary of Luzhou City, attended the ceremony and jointly witnessed the signing.
When addressing the signing ceremony, ANTONOV President Oleksandr Kotsiuba said that Airspace Industry Corporation of China is the sole partner of ANTONOV in China. The two companies would perform their respective obligations and realize the manufacture of the An-225 aircraft in China, adding that inking the deal would endow the airplane with a new life.
According to Mr. Zhang Yousheng, President of Airspace Industry Corporation of China, building the An-225 aircraft at Airspace Industry Corporation of China’s international aviation logistics industry base will advance the progress of the company’s international aviation logistics industry project into an unprecedented new stage. This is also the result of the two companies’ friendly project cooperation and intelligent cooperation. Airspace Industry Corporation of China expects to team up with friends and elites from all walks of life to create a better future and jointly write a marvelous chapter regarding the company’s international aviation logistics industry development.
Airspace Industry Corporation of China also signed a cooperation agreement with the Luzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Guigang Municipal People’s Government on the establishment of an international aviation logistics industry base and an aircraft production site.

At this sacred and solemn moment, our company will sign an agreement with Ukrainian state-owned company ANTONOV on the manufacture of the An-225 aircraft at its international aviation logistics industry base, as well as ink a cooperation agreement on international aviation logistics industry and aircraft production site with the Luzhou Municipal People’s Government and the Guigang Municipal People’s Government. ANTONOV is the world’s largest transport aircraft manufacturer and the sole large transport aircraft maker. Furthermore, the An-225 is a remarkable aircraft and rare work of art.
We have been mapping out an international aviation logistics industry project since 2009. We’re erecting six major international aviation logistics hubs in China’s Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beibu Gulf, Shandong Peninsula, northwest and north regions, and connecting the ASEAN, Africa, the Middle East and East Europe with the six major logistics hubs for global logistics trade. The manufacture of the An-225 heavy transport aircraft and airplane engines is an important part of our international aviation logistics industry plan. Tomorrow, we will open aviation logistics routes to Ukraine and Dubai first.

It will be written into Airspace Industry Corporation of China’s history.
The two companies today strike roots through long-term and repeated friendly negotiations and communications. We express our sincere thanks to ANTONOV’s executives including Mr. Kotsiuba for their open mind and principle to support, as well as the friendly negotiation and effective promotion of industry leaders from Ukraine.
