      Taiyuan Aviation Sports School Yaocheng Airport is 40 km southwest away from Taiyuan City. Covering an area of 1,200 mu and a total investment of about 338 million RMB, the project is completely built and in the control of the provincial construction and engineering bureau. Upon completion, the airport can meet the rising and landing demand of various airplanes and has become a general airport comprising aviation teaching, business training, entertainment and fitness, popular science education and feeder-line transport. Airspace Industry Corporation of China is responsible for lighting aid system, power supply, airport control, meteorology, communication, network communication, navigation, terminal high and low voltage system engineering and equipment procurement, with the total bid-winning amount reaching more than 30 million RMB.
